Recruit 121 are excited to be partnering with an award winning, successful growing fintech that is looking to recruit an experienced Chief Commercial Officer to lead their Commercial and Marketing teams and sit on the Executive board. The roles main objective is to grow the business through working with their strategic partners in B2B space.
My client is provides solutions to help reduce the impact that homes have on the environment, and use technology and expertise to enable homes to be more affordable, comfortable and tackle the climate emergency. They provide their customers with solutions to help them navigate the Net Zero journey.
Main responsibilities of the role
- Developing and implementing the strategy for Commercial and Marketing to achieve revenue growth and playing a crucial role in working with the Executive on the overall strategy.
- Lead and manage the Commercial and Marketing teams – Identify business opportunities with both existing and potential future customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing Social Landlords and B2B businesses, industry influencers, partnerships and key contacts.
- Conduct research and identify customer needs and competitive landscapes; using insight to form decision.
- Oversee all marketing collateral, promotional materials, advertising to ensure the company’s values and brand is portrayed
- Work cross functionally, championing the business and ensuring alignment towards Commercial and Marketing plans
- Stay up to date with industry developments, emerging technologies and best practice.
You will require
- Strong leadership skills with great ability to empower, motivate and develop sales & marketing teams
- Experience of working on at Board level whilst also having the start up hands on experience.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Purpose driven, working towards furthering the companies mission of getting homes to Net Zero.
- Results orientated mindset – a focus on driving revenue growth and delivering measurable business outcome.
- Willingness to challenge the status quo and adapt in a developing market.
- The successful candidate will be passionate about the mission of achieving Net Zero and battle climate change
- Experience of sales with in a relevant industry, housing, construction technology or services sector would be advantageous.
